I love the notion of, "repent, and get on with it!" It is so true that it's so easy (for me, at least) to bemoan my sins in attempt to feel sufficiently guilty as a means to repentance rather than to acknowledge my sin-prone humanity and the gift of God's forgiveness so that I become whom God has created me to become. It gives me a new perspective as I worship and reflect this Ash Wednesday.
