Whether you're currently married, or thinking about getting married, the Bible reveals the secrets to a happy, successful marriage. With so many men and women "falling out of love" with each other in marriage, it's crucial you know what God says about marriage—and how highly He values it.

What does a healthy, successful marriage look like?
It's a partnership.  Genesis 2:18-23
It forgives.  Exodus 32:11-14
It loves—forever.  Song of Solomon 8:5-7
It mirrors the love of God.  Hosea 14:4-8
It's a team effort.  Acts 18
It's focused and committed.  Hebrews 13:4


What does it really mean to "become one" with my spouse?
You realize it requires both union and separation.  Genesis 2:18-25
You accept your spouse's family as your own.  Ruth 1:15-18
You feel each other's pain and joy.  1 Corinthians 12:12-31


How does God define my role as a wife?
To be godly in attitude and actions.  Proverbs 31:10-31

My spouse is emotionally distant. How can I feel closer to him/her?
Resist closing yourself off.  Proverbs 3:27-35
Keep trusting God's power and goodness.  Zephaniah 3:16, 17
