Work can sometimes drag us down. But that's not its original, God-given intention. God designed work to help you feel good about yourself—so that you could share your unique talents with others, and form a balanced community, as well as enjoy the fruits of labor well-done.

How can I handle the competing demands of home and work?
Work during the week—but leave weekends for worship and recreation.  Exodus 23:10-13
Put God first in every area of your life.  Deuteronomy 6:1-9
Focus your eyes on God.  2 Samuel 1
Plan a getaway.  Matthew 14:22, 23


How can I have healthy relationships with the men I work with?
Be someone your coworkers can count on.  Esther 4
Keep appropriate sexual boundaries.  Proverbs 5
Treat male coworkers as brothers.  Romans 12:9-18
Help each other live by God's purposes.  Galatians 6:1-10


How can I rise above office politics?
