How can I handle even difficult times positively?
Know God is with you!
Leviticus 26:1-13
What if you had a personal line to the White House? You could call the president of the United States at any time with any problem. Troubles with your taxes? He'd straighten them out. Low on money? He'd arrange a transfer from the Federal Reserve. Worried about your teenagers? He'd assigned a Secret Service man to keep an eye on them.
Think how easy it would be to have a positive attitude if you knew the president was on your side. Well, Leviticus says you have someone even more powerful on your sidethe God who rules the entire universe! God promises He'll provide you with food; He'll give you peace, even when troubles start to pile up against you; He'll help you grow spiritually strong. And most of all, God promises to "walk with us," which means He'll go through every minute of every day with you.
God does give one command, though: Be obedient to Me! This is the key to a positive attitude toward lifeeven when problems arise. Be obedient to God's commands, and you can be sure He'll be with you, giving you strength and peace. (See also Job 23; Micah 4:1-5; Nahum 1:2-7,15, Romans 8:18-30; Ephesians 1:7-23.)
Good Words To Remember:
I have broken the hands of your yoke and made you walk upright. Leviticus 26:13
