How can I encourage my child's faith to grow?
Explain the simple message of God's love.
John 3:16-21

All humans share a deep need for love. As babies and children we first begin to sense whether or not we are loved. If we feel loved, we begin to trust in the goodness of God, and it becomes increasingly natural to put our life in his hands. It is, after all, much easier to trust someone once we're sure he loves us and has our best interests at heart.

Because you want your children to develop a deep trust in the fact that God loves them and wants to work out his best in their life, in addition, you can't tell them too often how greatly they're loved by God. By drawing attention to God's love, as expressed through Christ and the myriad other ways he blesses them daily, you create an atmosphere in which faith is likely to blossom. (See also Joshua 4; 1 Chronicles 22; Ezra 3; Proverbs 2:1-15.)

Good Words to Remember:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. John 3:16

Today's Challenge:
How do you draw attention to God's love in your family life?
