Tell her Christ is the promised Savior.

You can read the Old Testament in a lot of different ways. You can see it as a history lesson, a collection of amazing adventure stories, or a warning of just how bad things can get when you ignore God and do your own thing. But every once in a while, the Old Testament points to something else, something far in the future of that time: the birth of Jesus Christ.
Hundreds, even thousands of years before Mary and Joseph wandered into that cold stable in Bethlehem, God hinted through prophecies at the arrival of the Savior. As he watched his people reject him again and again, God knew he'd need to take a dramatic step to convince them that he, and he alone, was their God, their only hope for eternal life. So in Isaiah he told them about the greatest miracle the world would ever see: a virgin would give birth to the Son of God who would save the people from their sins. This amazing prophecy—unique to Christianity alone—was fulfilled in the birth and death of Christ. (See also Isaiah 53; Mark 16:1-8; John 14:1-14.)
Good Words to Remember:
The Lord himself will give you a sign; Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
Today's Challenge:
How can you share the good news of Christ with your friends?
