Will God really condemn people who don't accept Christ as their Savior?
Those who don't receive Christ remain in the condemned state in which they were born.
John 3:16-18
The overwhelming message of the Gospel of John in general and of this passage in particular is the message that God loves us. Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's love, not God's judgment. This passage makes it very clear that "God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved" (3:17).
However, those who don't respond to God's expression of love by putting their faith in Christ remain in the state of condemnation in which they were born. Unless you turn to God, you're on your way to eternal death. But once you belong to Christ, you no longer have to be concerned about punishment or condemnation. Christ took your punishment when he died for you-so you could have eternal life. (See also Deuteronomy 30; Zephaniah 1:14-18; John 6:60-69; Romans 10:5-21.)

Today's Challenge:
If you haven't chosen eternal life with God through Jesus, the Son, you're choosing eternal death. No one can sit on the fence in this decision.
