How can God use me as a single woman?
Ask God how you can serve him!
Malachi 3:16-18
If you're single, God has given you that freedom for a purpose. Although it's easy to indulge in the grass-is-greener kind of thinking, looks can be deceiving (that mom of two might be constantly exhausted; or your newly married friend may be enduring abuse). So trust that God knows what he's doing with your life, and don't waste your time wishing you were someone you aren't right now. In 1 Corinthians 7:7, 8, Paul said that singleness is a gift from Godand he lived what he said!
But realize that you, like those who are married, need built-in support for your decision to live for God. So choose a few people you trust and begin to cultivate relationships that will keep you following after God when times get hard (3:16). If you make God your focus, he'll honor you beyond your imagination. And remember: You're utterly precious to him! (See also Exodus 15:19-21; Judges 6; 7; 2 Samuel 20:14-22.)
Good Words to Remember:
A book of remembrance was written before him for those who fear the LORD
"They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "on the day that I make them my jewels." Malachi 3:16, 17
