Don't fall in love with money.

How many times have you said to yourself, If I only had more money, more stuff, everything would be fine. It seems we're never quite satisfied with what we have. No matter how much money or stuff we have, we could always use a little more.
But when we do get more, we still find ourselves unsatisfied. When will it ever be enough? According to Hebrews, the answer is never. Why? Because money and stuff are only temporary. They can be taken away at any time. To pin our hopes for happiness on material possessions is to ask to be dissatisfied.
But there's a remedy to the vicious cycle of wanting more and more. You can look to God, who promises to fulfill you forever. By putting your hopes in God, you no longer need to worry about having enough money, enough stuff. In God, your every need is satisfied—and satisfied for eternity. (See also Psalm 49:16-20; Malachi 3:8-12; Matthew 6:19-24; 1 Timothy 6:6-10.)
Good Words to Remember:
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For he himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrews 13:5
Today's Challenge:
Do you look toward money—or God—to fulfill your needs? Evaluate yourself honestly.
