Don't dwell on revenge.

Nothing eats away at you like dwelling on the wrong others have done to you. The more you focus on how unfairly you've been treated, the more angry you get at the world, and the more self-pitying you become. If you've ever been around someone obsessed with getting even, you know just how unhappy—and unpleasant to be with—he is.
God can free you from worrying about what punishments are due to others. He takes full responsibility for rewarding the faithful and punishing the guilty. You don't have to give it a second thought! Instead, build a more positive outlook by celebrating the good news of God's peace (1:15). (See also Leviticus 26:1-13; Job 23; Micah 4:1-5; Romans 8:18-30; Ephesians 1:7-23.)
