I'm more attracted to people of the same sex than to those of the opposite sex. How should I handle those feelings?
Be assured that God is always waiting for you to say no to sin and turn toward him.
1 Timothy 1:8-16

Have you ever wondered if another person would love you if she knew what you were really like underneath—all your insecurities, petty jealousies, ugly thoughts? Another human's love will always be conditional because humans are fickle. They walk away when the going gets tough—or when they find someone who's more interesting. But God does not. He never walks away from you. He's as close as your own breath. No matter who you are, what you've done, and how long you've been away from him, he's waiting with open arms to welcome you home.

What happened to the apostle Paul is a good example. This "Christian hater" persecuted and killed Christians for years until God grabbed a hold of him. Then God, out of his mercy, changed Paul into one of the greatest Christians of all time. Paul is saying that if God can do that for him, then Jesus can change anyone, including you! Why not say no to your sinful relationship and turn to God today? He can give you a clean conscience, a fresh state, and a light heart again. And he'll go a step further—he'll transform your life into something beautiful. (See also Leviticus 18:22, 29, 30; Romans 1:24-27.)

Good Words to Remember:
And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ. 1 Timothy 1:14

Today's Challenge:
Have you strayed away from God's original intention for you? If so, are you ready to come back? Ask God for his help, and then take a gutsy step: contact a Christian counselor to get you jumpstarted on your journey.
