As a single parent, is it all right for me to date? Should I wait until my children are grown?
Put your fears in God's hands.
Isaiah 51:12-16 | posted 1/30/2009

Is there anything scarier than a first date? It doesn't matter if you're sixteen or sixty venturing into a new relationship is one of life's riskier endeavors. And when there are children in the picture, well, it's enough to scare anyone into permanent seclusion.

Fortunately, God cares deeply about you and wants to walk alongside you in everything you do—including dating. That means you can let your fears and anxieties about dating fade, and replace them with hope and confidence. After all, God wants what's best for you. If you patiently look to Him for help and guidance, you'll sense His loving hand moving you back into the dating world when the time is right. (See also Daniel 12; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17.)

Good Words to Remember:

I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand. Isaiah 51:16

Today's Challenge:

How can you place your fears behind you and head into the future with confidence?
