It's already real; just tune in!

Radio signals project whether or not anyone tunes in. In a much greater sense, God is with you right now. He knows what you're doing, even when you don't pay attention. So rather than try to "make" his presence real, tune into the very real presence that's already there. God isn't present only when you feel him most; he's present all the time and in every place.
One of the best ways to get clear reception of God's presence is to serve others both in formal and casual ways. Formal service may include teaching a Sunday school class or working in the church kitchen. Informal service recognizes that your every action is a way to make Jesus obvious. Each time you bend on your knee to hear a child's story, you show that God cares about the details of life. Every time you make certain a son or daughter follows the rules, you show the value of doing the right thing. Each time you show a person consideration, you highlight the value of loving others as much as you love yourself. And as you serve others, you'll see God's transforming power at work in others and in you. (See also 2 Chronicles 29:20-36; Ezekiel 10; Ephesians 3:14-21; Colossians 3:10, 11.)
Good Words to Remember:
As it is written: "To whom he was not announced, they shall see; and those who have not heard shall understand." Romans 15:21.
Today's Challenge:
How is God transforming your life and others through your service?
