Consider the source.

Sometimes it's hard to believe in God. Doubts about God, His reality, His work in your life or in the world, even doubts about His goodness assail you when you're faced with the pain and contradictions of life. At such times, it's important not to ignore your doubts but to examine them carefully. Where are the doubts coming from? On what are you focusing? Are these sources more reliable than God's Word? What does God's Word say about whatever it is you doubt?
The people of Jeremiah's time were deceived by false prophets who told them what they wanted to hear. But God said those prophets' words were the product of their own twisted minds—not His words of truth. When you doubt, the best thing to do is seek God's perspective on the issue through His Word.
Ultimately the Bible is the only source of truth. As you seek Him, He'll see you through your doubts and strengthen your faith. (See also Job 1; Psalm 136; Romans 4:13-25; Colossians 2:6-19.)
Good Words To Remember:
"Is not My word like a fire?" says the Lord, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" Jeremiah 23:29
Today's Challenge:
What doubts do you have about God? Why not seek God's perspective in His Word?
