Let your doubts lead to deeper discover.

Every great believer has struggled in some way with doubt. Even Abraham (whose faith in God's promise is celebrated in this passage) at one point wondered how long it would take God to deliver the heir he had promised (Genesis 17:17, 18).
What did this spiritual giant do? After trying to do things his way for a while, he took his doubts to God—and God gave Abraham evidence and encouragement he needed to move forward. His questions led to the discovery of truth and a firmer foundation of faith. Abraham kept believing God's promise, then rejoiced in the birth of Isaac.
So quit squelching doubt. Doubts are troublesome when they become hidden reasons to refuse to obey God. But if you bring them out of hiding and place them before God, they can become the building material for actions of faith. (See also Job 1; Psalm 136; Jeremiah 23:16-32; Colossians 2:16-19.)
Good Words to Remember:
It is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed. Romans 4:16
