Obedience to God leads to confidence.

Do you wish you were more confident about your work? Maybe everyone in your office just got new computers, and you look at yours and get intimidated by all the new procedures you'll have to learn. Or you're beginning a daycare in your home and after doing all the legal paperwork and signing up your first "little clients," you wonder if you can handle four toddlers running around your house all day. Or you have a supervisor who always seems grumpy, no matter how nice you are or how much you get done.
Whether your work is in the home, mothering your children (or other children), or on a job site, John tells us a vital secret concerning our confidence. Obedience to God leads to confidence. The more you obey God in loving your children, treating your coworkers with kindness, or giving your employer the best performance possible, the more your confidence in your relationship with God will grow. When you don't feel confident, remember that God is greater than your feelings (3:20) and that he's in control. And, as your confidence in your relationship with God grows, the more ready you'll be to ask him for help—and the more apt you are to see God at work in your job! Good Words to Remember:
Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deeds and in truth. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 1 John 3:18-19
