Stay true to yourself—and don't doubt God's power.

Let's face it. Not everyone you work with will always be honest. Maybe you've worked long hours to come up with a winning slogan. Then, just before you're ready to present it to your supervisor, a coworker who snoops through your desk claims credit for your concept. Or you discover some money missing from the cash register at the end of the day. When you bring it to the store owner's attention, you get blamed (even though you know the store owner's son had his hand in the till).
When life isn't fair, remember this psalm, David's plea to God to defend him: "Vindicate me, O LORD." Although it may look like dishonest people not only survive but thrive, they'll have to undergo a reckoning someday.
The next time you're blamed for something someone else does, stay true to yourself and trust God without doubting, like David did in this psalm. God always has the upper hand. (See also Proverbs 28:11-26; Amos 2; Habakkuk 2:4-17.)
