Your Church is published bimonthly by Christianity Today International, 465 Gundersen Drive, Carol Stream, Illinois 60188. Your Church is for pastors and church leaders interested in managing congregational business affairs as knowledgeable Christian stewards.
Meet the Staff of Your Church
Mike Schreiter has been the managing editor for Your Church magazine since joining Christianity Today International in 2002. He spent the previous 20 years in the paper-manufacturing industry producing thousands of pages of technical reports and training materials. Mike has taught Sunday school for adults and children, performed in the church choir and orchestra, and served on the deacon board. He is married and has two daughters.
Marian Liautaud is editor of the Your Church Media Group. Marian oversees the publication of Your Church magazine, Church Law & Tax Report and Church Treasurer Alert! She edits several other resources authored by Richard Hammar, including the annual Church & Clergy Tax Guide, Compensation Handbook, and Pastor, Church & Law. Marian also oversees a number of e-newsletters produced by the Your Church Media Group, as well as safety downloads. When she's not editing, Marian loves to write. She's written extensively for Today's Christian Woman magazine and Marriage Partnership, both sister publications at Christianity Today International. For fun, you'll usually find Marian in her front yard throwing spirals or curve balls (depending on the season) to her youngest son. She also loves spending time with her three older sons, one grandson, and husband, Dan.
Lindsey Learn is editorial coordinator for the Your Church Media Group. She does administrative and editorial work for several e-newsletters, the Safety Alert downloads on YourChurchResouces.com, and Your Church magazine. Being a recent graduate, shes loving the new editorial and publishing experience. Lindsey recently married and is enjoying discovering a new life with her husband Matt. She is involved with the youth ministry at her church, enjoys board games, and playing with her niece and nephew. Lindsey also loves journaling and anticipates moments when she gets to cuddle up with her pen and a steaming cup of mocha.
Kevin Miller is the publisher for Your Church magazine. Kevin has edited Leadership Journal (www.LeadershipJournal.net) and Christian History & Biography magazine (www.ChristianHistory.net) and is author of three books, including Surviving Information Overload (Zondervan). Kevin is an ordained minister who preaches regularly at his church. He is married to Karen, who serves on their church staff, and they are parents of two adult children. Kevin loves browsing bookstores, drinking coffee, hanging out with friends, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs (though usually, there's little to cheer about).

Reprint Permission Policy
Chances are, you may not need to write for permission. We grant permission for any original article or cartoon (not a reprint) to be photocopied for use in a local congregation or classroom, provided no more than 1,000 copies are made, the material is distributed free, and the copies include the notice: "Copyright (year) (author). Reprinted from Your Church." For any other use, advance permission must be obtained from the author.

Writing For Your Church Magazine
Our Mission
Your Church is published six times a year by Christianity Today International (CTI), an evangelical Christian organization whose mission is "To engage, encourage, and equip the church worldwide, sharing the depth and transforming power of the Gospel as it permeates all spheres of life." Your Church supports this mission by "Providing church leaders and administrators with accurate information and helpful direction on products and services supporting day-to-day ministry operations."
Your Church is a controlled circulation magazine, sent free-of-charge to approximately 75,000 church addresses across the United States. Advertising revenue pays all Your Church expenses.
Our Readers
Our readers are the decision makers in the church: pastors (senior and associate), worship leaders, board members, church administrators, and treasurers. Our readers are Bible-believing Christians, members of protestant, evangelical denominations, or are non-denominational.
Our Subject Matter
Your Church magazine addresses a wide range of topics related to church administration, finance, operations, facilities, and ministry activities. We publish six issues annually.
Assignments, Queries, and Manuscripts
Most content is obtained by assignment from the managing editor. Note that we work several months in advance, and assignments are given four months before the issue date. If you are interested in freelance writing for Your Church, tell us about your writing experience and any special knowledge or interests you have related to our content. Include a sample of your writing, or links to online publications. Your Church will review unsolicited manuscripts, but only rarely do they fit our editorial plans. We welcome your article ideas that fit with our editorial plans.
