Working with 2nd and 3rd Graders in a children's ministry is an exciting opportunity. These children love to hear personal stories from their leaders, have lots of questions and are beginning to ask more in-depth ones, and are starting to grasp more fully the concept of sin and their need for a Savior.
On a social level, seven- and eight-year-olds are becoming aware of their peer group and where they fit within their peer structure. When these children come into your ministry, be prepared for lots of energy, tons of interaction, and a developing sense of sophistication!
