Life in Our House
Real life stories of silly kids
From readers

Side by Side
I was sitting down to read a book to my three children and they all wanted to sit next to me. Finally I said, "Mommy only has two sides, so only two of you can sit next to me at a time. We'll have to take turns." My youngest, who was almost 3, promptly said, "Mommy, let's pray right now and ask Jesus to send us another side so that there will be enough sides for all of us."

Weather Report
After getting everything priced and ready for a yard sale we were having, I announced to my three young children, "All we have to do now is pray for God to send us some sunny weather."

"Mommy," my 6-year-old said, "he's going to send us partly cloudy."

"How do you know?" I asked him.

He replied rather indignantly, "Because I saw it on the Weather Channel!"

Buckled Up
One day while running errands with me, my 5-year-old was trying to explain to his younger sister that God is with us wherever we go, even in the car. Katie replied, "Well, I don't think there's enough room for God in my car seat with me."
