My daughter who has been much loved, raised in Christ, now a prodigal. The pain this causes a Christian parent,nor is it an easy turn around. I must forgive her no question, but am reeling from the pain.

God's special concern for the man who has gone astray is a recurrent theme in Christ's teachings. Here Jesus stressed not only God's fatherly love but his expansive forgiveness of anyone who is truly repentant.
