Kevin Devoto Romney or Hillary? Kevin Devoto "I'm not going to vote for someone just because they are a Christian," Perkins said. "The reverse is true; I wouldn't not vote for someone who is not a Christian. If the candidate has the right track record on the issues, I'm going to look very hard at that candidate." Kevin Devoto

I have family who are mormon. I am very familiar with their beliefs and their values. I know that their values are very conservative. I believe that Mitt Romney and the mormon church seem to share many, if not all, of the christian values I so strongly believe in. That said, as a bible believing christian who has vigorously studied mormonism, I can say that their beliefs are not biblically christian. I have read all of their doctrines, and they do teach that all other churches but theirs are of the devil. That all other churches are without truth. That salvation can only come through the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, and adherence to its principles. They do reject the trinity. They do believe that god the father is a man and not spirit. He was once an infant, who grew up and attained his godhood. They do teach that exalted mormons after death can become gods of their own planet. Many mormons dont even know all their church teaches. Bizarre but true. Check it out.

What a travisty to imply that Romney is a christian conservaatvie - his voting record is anything but Pro-Life or Pro-family - Look at Human Events 2005 He is listed as a RINO the 8th most liberal Republian in the country. I use to support Focus, but no longer. He even put pressure on the Boy Scouts to accept homosexual scout masters. Where have we gone wrong!

Nice article. Interesting that Focus would endorse Romney even by its silence...Seems somewhat uncharacteristic.
