Yeah, amazing! Who doesn't love Ned Flanders? I do, like a brother… "Typical of The Simpsons' brand of humor — critics say it is a show that rewards intelligence — Flanders' Book of Faith includes some references only Christians are likely to get." Considering how utterly subversive it is of everything that great materialist multi-billionaire Christian 'American' entrepreneur Rupert Murdoch and the solidly upper-middle-class free-market capitalists that 99%.999… of Americans are– including, may God help us, his Church in the US– the only thing that saves that show decade after decade is our basic socio-economic cluelessness (not to say 'stupidity'.) 'Wise as doves', we are, and 'harmless as timber-rattlers'– didn't Jesus say something like that?

Ned Flanders is always portrayed as sincere in his religion, and ready to forgive his boorish neighbor Homer. Probably one of the most positive portrayals of a Christian in the modern media.
