I think Paste got it wrong. In my book, Bill Mallonee is THE greatest living songwriter.

An artist who suffers for his art. The music takes me back to the blue water cafe in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1978. It feels good to listen to his music. Like the comment above- play on. I really want to put 5 stars above, but can't, sorry. Hope this doesn't dismantle the statiscal reliability.

OK, so now i GOTTA go find more of their music. What he said about doin what you love. As an artist who's always had the doors shut here and there, it could be now that I just keep the eyes of my heart open to see which door to open. I'm a printmaker, painter, potter, collager. Too may advise to focus on one. But that's not it. I gotta combine 'em and write about 'em and talk about 'em. Praying for God to give me the venue. Thanks for the very encouraging piece. Play on.
