Style: Glistening electronica; compare to Boards of Canada, The Postal Service, Radiohead

How does one follow up Stockholm Syndrome, an album that caused many an eyebrow to raise for its use of lyrical profanity? For Webb, the answer is to create an even more daring and obtuse statement: an album of electronic-based instrumentals inspired by The Lord's Prayer. Considering the musical inspirations behind this album (Radiohead, Boards Of Canada), Feedback could've been much more angular and weird. But Webb finds a fine middle ground where quavering piano melodies rub up against fissured synth racket, and bleeps galore. It's as beautiful and challenging a statement of faith as you're likely to hear.
