These disparities don't really surprise me, especially the U.S. figures on governmental assistance for the poor. U.S. church leaders are too busy schmoozing millionaires and hating gays, minorities and the poor to remember what Jesus actually taught. Only in the U.S. would the church support protecting the mega-rich from taxation while forcing "the least of these" to die in squalor caused by greed.
