Style: Old school rock'n'roll; compare to Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen

Top tracks: "Last Time I Saw Eden," "Life Is Tough, God Is Good," "Remember the Devil"

Forty years and 23 albums after starting out, Stonehill proves he's still not too old to rock. His trademark humor comes through loud and clear on the bluesy, Dylan-esque opening track, "Blood Transfusion and a Coca Cola." Stonehill delivers just as convincingly on his achingly poignant ballads, like "Broken Places," acoustic guitar folk tunes like "To Finish Well," and his classic rockers, like "That's Where the Devil Lives." Spirit Walk is a welcome addition to any Stonehill fan's collection, and serves as a pretty good introduction for those may not be aware of this contemporary Christian music legend.
