So... we hear all the time about prayer breakfast, prayer brunch, prayer lunch, prayer snack, prayer dinner, prayer barbecue, prayer picnic, prayer potluck, etc. Good Lord in Heaven! Is that why so many church attendants, goers and members are so overweight even morbidly obese? Whatever happened to good old FASTING and Prayer? Since when eat and eat, pray a little, then eat more is a worthy spiritual exercise? Looks like BO is the only one doing a little fasting though clearly not a lot of prayer. Is gluttony an american christian value now? Since when?

You know a tree by its fruit. Obama's fruit has placed Christians in increasingly difficult situations in America and around the world. The man claims to be a believer, but he completely disregards the Great Commission, sows divisiveness and discord among the faithful and non-faithful alike, and continually uses demonic Saul Alinsky tactics to gain political power. He has a lot to answer for. Much has been given him, much will be asked.

Jim I understand what you are saying, but I believe some of your justifications are not really biblical. Over and over again in the bible when a nation forgot about God, they began ritualistic practices that in the end resulted in completely abandoning God and his principles, such as the worship of other Gods that called for child sacrifice. God held the leaders of that country responsible due to laws having been created to worship other Gods. God judges hearts, not outward appearances, therefore God judged the heart of the spiritually lost leader, then the individual actions of the people that were responding to the culture of sin. Beyond all this is the very real fact it is a population control tool, which is why it continues to be allowed.
