It appears that one can be an evangelical and an ecumenical person at the same time if one uses the stricter definition of ecumenical as seeking unity within the universal church. Merriam-Websters "ecumenical" and "evangelical"

There is no such thing as an ecumenically minded evangelical. Either you are evangelical or ecumenically minded. The two (despite ongoing attempts to redefine evangelical away from the fundamentals of the faith) are mutually exclusive categories.

Luis, Are Anglicans not Xians either because they are Catholics (Reformed)? Thy have quite the system of rites, protocols and ceremonies too. They have quite a bit of financial holdings around the world as well.
