When Helping Hurts is an additional great book on missions. The Christian, nonprofit that I intern for has a methodology that incorporates the base of the book which is give people aide that will lead to long-term sustainability, encourage local initiative and allow community development. A very relevant and absolutely essential book was missed for mission books: "A Better Way - Make Disciples Wherever Life Happens" by Dale Losch, published by UFM International, DBA Crossworld, Kansas City, MO. It proves that we have elevated the position of "missionary" above everyone else in the Body of Christ when the mandate we ALL have is to make disciples.
