Pasta George the Molester Melby should not be calling people names otherwise people might express their disapproval of his un-Christ-like behaviour by calling him names too (so that he will know what it feels like to be abused rather than criticized).

Kudos to Dobson and CT for publishing these numbers. Praise God for what can be done when people see that open their hearts and wallets is directly related. Your money represents your work and time and giving that always costs something no matter how small or little. I am also very thankful for Dr. Dobson now that Im raising my own kids. Everyone comments on how joyful and bright they are but when I confide with them that we spank them so it stings, they look shocked but they say they realize the disciplining with love is the only way. Thanks to Dobson for sticking his neck out to tell the truth.

Your "Go Figures"are very timely and instructive. It helps me, with figures, in my discussions about tendencies. These are encouraging. Thank you.

I must say that I, for one, am grateful to God for the great good Dobson has done and continues to do through Focus on the Family. I am one of a great many who find the organization always helpful and who find its political positions reflective of my own. I do not hesitate to admit that I am a fan of Dobson and amazed by all that Focus has accomplished. However, I must also say that I regret some of the previous posts reflect such bitterness and hostility -- not to mention an incivility which ought not be seen in those who are disciples of the Prince of Peace. Disagree with Dobson and/or Focus if you like, but why resort to slurs, false charges and unkind language? I have heard Dobson, himself, often enough to know that if he were speaking to you, he would not do so. He would speak the truth with love.

To dakotahgeo I am not a fan of Dobson and deplores his mixing of reliigon and politics but the way you refer to him (i.e. swine) is not appropriate for a Christian and much less for someone that claims to be a pastor. you should be ashamed of yourself speaking of loss of credibility....

Kudos to Mike Rucker above. Dobswine started out pretty good as a family counselor but then sold his soul to the religious right and conservatives regarding society's most important topics. Not only has Dobson and his other ilk lost credibility with the general public...the integrity of his strong counseling methods has been destroyed. When will these lost soul yahoos wake up?! George M Melby, Pastor

$0.05 (plugged)......How much James Dobson / Focus on The Family champions issues with real Christian messages......$1.00......How much, out of every dollar donated, JD/FotF wastes on arguments against global warming, podiums for Newt Gingrich's confessions, and less-than-educated views on homosexuality......$0.00.....How much JD/FotF was willing to invest in a fallen brother, Ted Haggard.
