A Manifold Resurrection
Why the risen Jesus met people in five different ways--and still does.

From January to April, we live between the times—between Christmas and Easter, Bethlehem and Golgotha, Incarnation and Resurrection. What strikes me about the Gospel accounts of Christmas and Easter ...

What is clear to me is that Christ is always willing to reveal Himself to all who seek Him. In the five examples, each was indeed seeking, the fact that they allowed fear, doubt, guilt, a failure to recognize Him, etc. to get in the way only emphasizes His willingness to manifest in spite of our weaknesses. The key is the seeking. Modern Christians so often use rituals, rites, even icons to represent "seeking", when truly they are a substitue. Seek Him and He shall appear!

Passion and Resurrection stories reminds us the different life situations in which Risen Christ meets us , touches us, moves us. They also makes us aware of different types of religiosity and religious traditions available to human-kind within the Christian way of life to follow Him. Christian needs to learn to be more generous, respectful and accept each other as our Master did. The Risen Christ meets every one without any distinction- men, women, people in fear, lonely, prayerful, abandoned, people on their job or in journey. He assures us once again this day.

Christ's sacrifice and eventual resurrection by our Lord Jesus Christ is clear evidence of victory of light over darkness and life over death. This video depicts the christ sacrifice wonderfully in following site http://mosesprajan.blogspot.com/

There were years when anger and frustration welled up insicde obsreving the pitiful state of Greek Orthodox believers. They are not taught to read the Bible. Traditions have taken precidence over the Word of God. People actualy crawl up stone steps of a church to gain mercy from God. It was a very long time later when I began to see that Christ is available in every distorted posture, principal, ignorance and enlightment. After all had He not heard me when...... Have I not been known to Him before the creation? Was it not Christ's beckoning that I responded to? Just as a baby one day recognizes its Mother so did I to Christ. None of us can resist Him. The Good Shepherd Picks us up when we run and are scared. Never rejected or abandonded. Chastized with love that passes all understanding. Restored, encouraged and loved. Now that I am 70 years old I feel like a youngster and that is because I am a child of God forever. God's grace is above all, before all and always.

GOSPE STORIES OF CHRISTMAS AND EASTER IN THE BIBLE??? There is passover, the high Sabbath, and we are told to commemorate Jesus' death. Period. Christmas and Easter are taken from pagan worship and are man made additions in clear violation of what God tells us. We are to worship God every day of the year, if any day has any greater significance it is only the day that Jesus dies for our sins clearing the way for us all to be received in heaven. The adoption of celebration of these pagan holidays came hundreds of years after the birth of Christianity and were implemented by the Catholic Church to appease new comers. In other words, false teachings to make Christianity more attractive to grow the flock thus growing the clout and coffers of those in the religious hierarchy. I refuse to worship Tammuz and Ishtar. I kneel before one God only.
