I know Franklin Graham is making a difference. On May 5th, 2000 the Lord Jesus appeared to me in my prayer closet. He stated he was going to put me an an "orphanage" in North Korea. When I asked him how this would be? He said: "Benny Hinn will build it and Franklin Graham prepares the way even now". Then the Lord was Gone. I prayed for confirmation. I asked the Lord to Bring me a Korean Bible if this word was true. Within 30 days a lady appeared from nowhere and came to our church. (June 4th 2000) Small Baptist Church in Southbury CT. She was standing in front of me and I didn't notice her until the end of the service during the final song. As if scales fell from my eyes, I saw her Korean Bible on the Chair in front of me when we stood up to sing. That Christmas she gave me a Korean/English Bible. Then she left the church after Christmas. I have just gotten my master's degree as an ESL teacher. One day I will be in North Korea, for God's Glory.

I RECENTLY SAW A FOX NEWS REPORT ON FRANKLIN GRAHM'S MISSION TO NORTH KOREA DEPICTING THE MARVELOUS WORK ACCOMPLISHED BY SAMARITAN;S PURSE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF FRANKLIN GRAHAM. GRETA VANSUSTERAN ACCOMPANIED HIM AND IT SHOWED GOD AT WORK IN THIS COUNTRY, THIS TRIP WAS PRECEEDED BY THE FACT THAT RUTH GRAHAM HAD LIVED THERE WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG, AND BEFORE SHE MET AND MARRIED BILLY. I LOOK FOR MIRACULOUS GOD-EMPOWERED GOOD RESULTS IN YEARS TO COME.PRAISE GOD AND BLESS HIS ANNOINTED SERVENTS.

As far as I am aware, neither Revs. Billy or Franklin Graham are politicians; they are simply gospel preachers. A gospel preacher shares the gospel when given the opportunity to do so and regards it as a privilege. Whether the one who invited him has his own agenda ought not to be the chief concern of the preacher . And what does it matter that the North Korean Government is against Christianity. Isn't this the point of the gospel? It is not to call the righteous but sinners. Kim Jong Il and his cohorts certainly qualify as sinners. By preaching the gospel in North Korea the Grahams may accomplish more than all the politicians who have visted the country. Who knows, North Korea may yet "beat its nuclear arsenal into ploughshares". And to those who believe the Grahams are being duped are are just being naive I ask, what if they are simply trusting God and believing that the gospel message will fall on some good ground?

If the Grahams can go and preach Christ great, as long as they don't getted sucked into saying there is religious freedom, or that oppression no longer exists. Simply go, preach Christ and leave. While he is there he may want to ask about some Christians by name that are known to be imprisioned for their faith. As a token of good will they may let one or two go. Dale

I have no doubt Kim Jong Il is trying to use Franklin Graham and I am confident Franklin knows that. The man isn't stupid. I think he knows and trusts that God is greater than Kim Jong Il and He will use his visit His Way. Either God is Great and in control of all that happens or He isn't. As for me, I believe He can use Franklin's visit in a powerful and good way because He is so absolutly Awesome, Powerful, Wise and Good. Praise His Name!

The problem with the report on the Grahams preaching in Korea is that we easily extrapolate to complacency with the misguided notion that life is changing for Christians in North Korea. We have done that in China and there are many who would want us to do so also in Korea. Christians in China and in Korea suffer terribly. And while I am happy that the Grahams could present Christ and encourage the Korean Church, lets not become complacent either in our prayer or our opportuntiy to affect our governments foreign policy ...however we may do this. I agree with the pastor from Nevada, but I am quite happy that the gospel was preached. It will not return void regardless of the political climate it is preached in. Those that hear are now responsible for what they do with it. Our job, Franklin's job, any Christian's job is to present the gospel with the way we live and the words we say. What is God telling you to do, and are you doing it?

I agree w/ Pastor in Navada.

Have we not learned yet that all political leaders will put on a 'show' because they know what the people want to hear (or see) ? The Grahams were allow to visit & preach in China & North Korea freely just to silence (or calm) the voices that were calling them on their abuses against Christians in their lands! If we think differently, then what about the ongoing reports from VOM ? OR what about those who have escaped an are telling of the tortures, murders, rapes, ethnic cleansings that being caring on by the police or military there? It is time that the church understands that this fallen world is against the Living & True God of Holy Scripture & His Son, Jesus the Christ! Even the USA.
