The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

At last, the Pevensies have reached the silver screen. What a joy to see Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—the four siblings of C. S. Lewis's beloved The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe—brought ...

I love the movie and the books are simply splendid! +,if you know a bit of theology, you instantly realise the whole point that C.S Lewis was driving at,these books and this movie isn't really about Aslan and the Pevensies,it's about God's love for mankind and all other creaures on the earth.I wish people like Jess would realise that.

Secondly, I thought the movie was aight. I liked the book, but didn't love it. I did, however, love the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is one of my favorite books, EVER. So, I'm cautiously optimistic for that. Anywho, I thought the movie was fun, though it dragged at certain point. However, I thought that, while Aslan's resurrection was still there, all of the themes, from the explicitly Christian ones of resurrection to the more ubiquitous ones of bravery and kindness and the like, were overshadowed by all the "Hey, look, it's a talking beaver!" and "Hey, look! That man has funny legs? How did we ever do that?" The makers of the movie were overly impressed with their own technology, and CGI was more precedent than the message. True, the movie is very true to the book's story, yet the spirit somehow just seems missing.
