Marley& Me was a great movie. it showed so many great points about love, life, sex, and mariage. although it contained cussing and sexual content, that is part of life. no matter how hard we try to shield ourselves and kids from the world, its not gonna happen. the movie reveals the pains of life and mariage and shows that devorce is not the way to work problems out. but as a warning: it will make you cry.

I loved this movie. It was delightful, and more movies like this should be made. These were two people that fought for their marriage and divorce was not an option. It portrays hope and laughter and I enjoyed it from beginning to end, through the laughter AND the tears.

I love how this movie realistically showed family. The struggles, the road blocks, the triamphs, and the love. It did not come across as another cheesy pet out of control movie, but was a vehicle for presenting real life and showing how love, determination, and hard work win the day. I felt this movie elevated its themes and made me proud to be a family man. I related to both the struggles and the hope it portrayed. It was crude and I would not recomend small children see it, but older familiy members can find a wealth of themes to talk about, so overall this was a great movie to see.

Sure it was a cute movie and kids do need to be exposed to the real world, how else will they get stronger. However, the rude, crude language was unnecessary and certainly nothing I would want my kids to hear, nor myself. This should have had a huge warning! It was over all disgusting. Constant crude remarks. And to Kristi... why are you even on this site? We want to be more like Jesus and not this world. We want to please Jesus, not our flesh.

I liked it. It was sweet and had a nice charm to it. The movie is quite family friendly for slightly older kids. I hardly think kids need to be shielded from anybody on screen drinking alcohol. If that was true, we couldn't show them any biblical movie since they drink a lot in the Bible, even at the Last Supper. I think most kids can handle any problematic content in this film and I highly recommend it to anybody with a love of pets.

First off, stacia needs to get real and stop trying to shield life from her family. They drank beer? Wine? Who cares? Give it a try, you might like it! Geez! Second off the movie was wonderful!!! I so love Marley!!

This is not kid friendly! Owen said he use to smoke a "bong". Wine and beer drinking were common in this movie. We shut the movie off when the words "oh my god" were used several times. I am afraid that even rated "pg" movies are off limits due to adult context.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. They showed the hard work it takes to keep love and a relationship alive. There were a few cuss words with hints about sex, but I loved the movie and thought it was very tastefully done and I'm a christian woman. Bravo to them... two thumbs up.
