The Economy of Anger
Looking for a real miracle.

Exactly one month before Christmas, a riot broke out at "the real-life Santa's workshop." That's what people call the Chinese city of Dongguan, because of the number of toys manufactured there. The violence ...

Here is an issue which clearly demonstrates something very important. So long as Christians focus on the theories and ideologies of the economists and politicians we will remain angry, yes, and weak and divided. We will chose sides. But what all Christians should be able to agree upon is simple: that we should be living clean, simple, holy, econmically restrained and YES, ECOLOGICALLY SOUND lifestyles. If ten, twenty or thirty million Christians (not even the majority) would suddenly get their personal lives in order, all of America would be shocked into asking what we are up to.

Careful, John. We don't want anybody getting what they deserve, because then we will get what we deserve. Grace and peace to you in Christ.

Aren't we all responsible on a different scale? Doesn't almost every American borrow money so we can have luxury's right now that we don't need? Didn't the inability of many American's to pay back loans for home's we greedily bought do a great deal of damage to our economy? Look in the mirror America, very few of us are guiltless. The middle class is broke because we were greedy and frivolous. This is a consumer driven economy and it is the bankruptcy of the average consumer has as much to do with our crisis as anything else. Main Street is just as greedy as Wall Street, and Main Street has made many of the decisions that have gotten us here, too.

I get soooo tired of people who use Jesus' example when we was killed as some sort of role model. People seem to forget the rest of his ministry, when we never backed down, spoke truth to power, put wrongdoers in their place, stood up for the hurting and helpless, and always, always asserted himself. He even got a little angry himself, if you remember the story of the temple money changers. So give me a break...the "Masters of the Universe" that handed themselves huge salaries and bonuses for years drove us all in the ditch...so get angry...they deserve it!
