Visit Amazon.com/Underground on your device’s internet browser and download the Amazon Underground app. (You may need to turn on Unknown Sources under the Security settings in order for it to download.)

You can then go to My Files and Download History to Install the Amazon_App.apk app.

Once the Amazon Underground app is installed, open the app and search “Christianity Today” in the app, or by going directly to this link. Click to install the app and then open the app once the installation is completed.

This app is not available on the Kindle store, but only the Amazon Underground store.

Current subscribers can access the Android/Kindle edition for free with two easy steps:

The other issues you are entitled to will appear upon sign in. Tap the "How do I access issues? Tap Here" header to retrieve your username and password for signing in. The Jan/Feb 2014 issue is free to anyone who downloads the app, but all the issues after that are only available to subscribers upon sign-in.

How can I access past issues of Christianity Today on the app?

For the tablet app, you are entitled to the issues released during your subscription term. If you wish to access past issues, as a subscriber you have full access to all our past issues on ChristianityToday.com, including downloadable PDFs of each issue. (Remember: your password for the tablet app and the website are different)

All issues starting in 2014 are available on the Android/Kindle app. If you are interested in reading older archives before 2014, you can visit the archives page on ChristianityToday.com
