- Did you notice the Last Supper painting seen on Mr. Fletcher's wall in a key scene? What if anything do you think it signifies?
The Family Corner
For parents to consider
Be Kind Rewind is rated PG-13 for some sexual references, primarily an exchange in which Mr. Fletcher good-naturedly ribs Jerry and Mike about the lack of sex in their lives, metaphorically alluding to alleged auto-eroticism, and lightly boasts about his own vigorous sexual past. Jerry also complains about not wanting to kiss his mechanic in drag for a scene since people might think he was gay, and Mike and Alma have a brief moment of mild sensuality. There are also a few instances of body-function humor including vomiting and public urination, and a few instances of vandalism, and there is an instance of the Lord's name taken in vain.
