Jeremy Camp
We Cry Out: The Worship Project (BEC Recordings)
Our Rating4 Stars - Excellent

Style: Contemporary worship; compare to Kutless, Sanctus Real, The Afters, MercyMe

Top tracks: "The Way," "Overcome," "King Jesus"

Since recording his last praise project (2004's Carried Me), Jeremy Camp got married (to Adrienne Liesching, former lead singer of The Benjamin Gate), started a family, and recorded three studio CDs and two concert projects. On this new project, Camp adds more complex arrangements to an already appealing mix of momentum-building rockers and string-soaked ballads, all bathed in his bold vocals. He'll have no trouble connecting at radio, but more importantly, he crafts an inspiring album that showcases his testimony.

This Album is by far one of my favorite Jeremy Camp albums! Jeremy's heart was poured out into this project and it definitely touches my heart as I worship along with this cd! God is using Jeremy Camp in a mighty way and I must say thank you Jeremy for what you do! As a musician myself it's so amazing to see what God can do through this thing we love to do! And by the way, the 4 covers he did were awesome :)

Love the album and Jeremy's heart behind it. He wanted the album to not be about him but about God and worshiping the almighty which is part of his reason behind doing the covers. Also the covers are songs that he was already doing in concert. The album is powerful in so many ways and God will use it mightily to reach many people.
