In his homeland of Greece, Sakis Gouzonis is a recognized synth-pop artist, having released two full-length CDs and logging over 900 shows throughout Europe. His latest project finds the arranger, producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist turning in an electronic offering that switches between throbbing club cuts, cinematic pieces, and the occasional quiet moment of worship. But don't mistake this electronica import as Yanni or any of his sleepy peers; Gouzonis's driving dance beats are much more likely to be played alongside Moby or Euro-pop DJs like Tiesto.
