Style: Modern/alternative Rock; compare to Anberlin, Future of Forestry, Mainstay

Top tracks: "With the Daylight," "Hearts Open," "The Greatest Love"

The members of Ivoryline listen to movie scores, heavy metal, hardcore and even classical music, all of which are evident in pockets on this sophomore release. Along with all-star producer Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, The Almost), there are plenty of mega-melodies, power choruses, surging guitars, while the entire 13-track offering, with its unpredictable arrangements, adapts a cinematic framework . Lyrically, the group transitions from vague spiritual references to more overtly gospel messages, particularly redemption for the unsaved—and yet avoids being preachy.
