Crystal Cathedral

Located in southern California, the Crystal Cathedral housed Robert H. Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral Ministries for more than three decades. (The ministry, which is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America, was founded as the Garden Grove Community Church but changed its name when it moved into the Crystal Cathedral in 1981.) Its church services are broadcast worldwide on the television show Hour of Power. In 2010, Crystal Cathedral Ministries filed for bankruptcy and put the Crystal Cathedral up for sale. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange bought the building and has allowed Crystal Cathedral Ministries to lease most of the campus until 2015.
