The Exchange Recap: Jon Acuff & Quitter

Last week, I was privileged to host author and blogger Jon Acuff for The Exchange. As you might expect, it was one of our more humorous episodes, but also one that was filled with practical advice for many.

Jon has documented a growing number of "I'm a ___, but I want to be a ___" people over the past few years. In my role as a pastor, I see this dynamic at work probably more than others do. However, the fact remains: there are many people working in unsatisfying jobs who are wanting to do something else.

We all feel compelled to make an impact in life, and Jon has written a great book about the discipline, tenacity, and planning it takes to both recognize and realize those dreams. Here are a few short clips from the show.

In this clip, we discuss how to fight ministry pornography:

Next is a clip on how to avoid discouragement

And finally we talked about how long does it take to realize success.

Here is the full episode. Be sure to join us each Tuesday at 2 p.m. CDT for The Exchange.
