Angie Mabry-Nauta

Rev. Angie Mabry-Nauta is a theologian, writer and ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America. She served two congregations in six years of pastoral ministry - one as solo pastor, and the other as interim Pastor of Preaching and Worship. Angie is passionate about empowering women, and writes about many aspects of womanhood in church and secular life. Her articles have been posted on various Christian online publications. In addition to contributing to Gifted for Leadership, Angie blogs on her own site, "Woman, in Progress …", and she is a member of the Redbud Writer's Guild.

Angie is currently blogging her first book idea. It is an inspirational non-fiction book about motherhood, God, and the motherhood of God.

Harmony is an important value in Angie's life, and her vocation is well-balanced by her commitment to her family. She and Eric, her husband, are parents to Sophia and Zoe. They reside in Plano, TX, a northern suburb of Dallas. Angie enjoys new experiences, reading, college football, good friends, good wine, good food, and good conversation.
