About the Global Conversation
We invite you to join the Conversation, beginning October 2009. Here thoughtful Christians will engage critical issues relating to world evangelization to better equip the whole Church in taking the whole gospel to the whole world.
We believe this is the first online conversation of its kind, and observations and ideas will help shape discussions at Cape Town 2010.
The Global Conversation will include:
- a series of 12 articles appearing in Christianity Today International (and in dozens of publications around the world), plus parallel articles in the Canadian media and elsewhere
- thought-provoking blogs, podcasts, radio programs and video
- discussion forums
- interaction on Twitter and Facebook
- live "virtual café" discussions centred on compelling questions
- advance written and multimedia presentations from CT2010 speakers
- connections to related discussions on the web already underway
- in-person interaction at Bible colleges, mission agencies, churches and theological institutions through the Cape Town GlobaLink
Your voice in the conversation is needed. As iron sharpens iron, and as there is wisdom in the counsel of many, we trust the Lord will use the global discussion to spur us on—not only to further dialogue, but to strategy and action so that all may hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
