Unique Lent and Easter Bible Studies

Carol Stream, IL February 17, 2010—With Lent starting this week, ChristianBibleStudies.com, a non-profit ministry of Christianity Today International, has developed over a dozen downloadable Bible studies to use during the Lenten and Easter season—including a free resource.
All Bible studies are downloadable for immediate access, and there are a variety of formats: from one-session to multi-week studies, to studies based on the Gospel stories of Luke and Matthew, to studies based on movies depicting the crucifixion like The Passion of the Christ. Each Bible study works for personal use, or can be used in your Bible study or small groups, and Sunday school classes.

Easter Week: Sacrifice and Salvation:This four-part study takes an in depth look at Easter week. Holy Week is six days of amazing contrasts. This series seeks to bring the conflicting events and emotions of the Triumphal Entry and the Passion into a unified whole.
Rediscovering Lent: This download helps you understand the meaning of Lent, entering into closer communion with Jesus as you ponder the pervasiveness of sin and the grace coming at Calvary. This spiritual formation e-booklet will help you explore the history of Lent and consider what it can mean in your own life.
Living the Resurrection Reality:The Resurrection is too good of news to be limited to only one Sunday a year. This 6-session Bible study looks at this phenomenal event in detail. It examines how the Resurrection transforms our lives as it grounds our faith and gives us a glimpse of our life to come.
