Ideas to Honor Your Pastor
1. A card shower.*
2. An afternoon or evening social.
3. A bulletin board done with your pastor's history at the church.
4. Altar flowers.
5. Balloons.
6. A financial gift.
7. A surprise vacation.
8. Gift certificates to a store or restaurants.
9. A cake and ice cream social.
10. A note of appreciation.
11. Decorate your church in honor of your pastor.
12. Have each Sunday School class do something special.
13. Have a church appreciation banquet. Invite dignitaries and family to attend.
14. Have a testimony time in your service.
15. Announce this special day in your local newspaper.
16. Get local Government officials to recognize the event.
