A Gracious Gift
I read your article, "A Gift of Grace" (November/December). I recently had a conversation with some people in my dorm where I found myself struggling to present my faith. I also found myself feeling very judgmental toward the people I was talking to. I wish I'd had your article before I had that conversation. Now I can go back to those people armed with the Word of God to back my claims. I'm also ready to love those who challenge my beliefs and condemn my faith. Thank you for writing articles that apply to the challenges Christians face in the world.

Soul Searching
Chris Lutes's article about Collective Soul ("Tell Me about It," November/ December) was right on. I hear a lot of references to Christianity in their lyrics, but they never come right out and say where they stand. Thanks for clearing up their confusing message.

A Thoughtful Thank You
Thanks for addressing the question, "Why Don't Boys Like Me?" ("Love, Sex & the Whole Person," November/December). I'm a homeschooler too, and it can be hard to make new friends, especially guy friends. Thanks for such an informative and encouraging answer. It really helped me.

Finally, Fine Arts
I was knocked out by the special advertising section on the fine arts in your November/December issue. I'm heavily into the arts and have been searching for a Christian college where I can study the arts. Thanks for paying attention to an area of study that often goes unnoticed.

Fab Finds for Future Frosh
I plan on going to film school and found it very difficult to include Christian colleges in my search because most of them lack the intense film study I want. That's why I was excited to read about the Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities Los Angeles Film Studies program ("Be the Next Spielberg!" in October's Christian College Guide). Now I know it's possible for me to follow my dreams and get a great Christian college education.
Molly Baker Quilcene, Washington
I'm a junior in high school and have just begun my overwhelming journey to find the "perfect" college. Since I read your October Christian College Guide, I feel much better prepared to make my grand entrance into the college world. Thank you so much!

Dynamic Devotions
Thanks so much for the "Power Pack" on love (September/ October). The 60-Day Challenge helped me become a more loving, caring person. I found myself doing extra things for people I wouldn't have done before. I hope other readers benefited from these devotions as much as did.

Absolute Abstinence
Thanks for the special section on abstinence ("Why True Love Waits," September/October). As a 19-year-old mother of a new baby, it was refreshing to finally see an article in which the biblical reasons for abstinence were clearly presented. Perhaps my choices would have been different if I'd seen an article like this a year ago. I believe that despite breaking promises both to myself and to God, I am forgiven and can start again. Thanks again for your words of encouragement, both to those struggling with purity and to those of us learning to live in God's forgiveness.
