At the most recent convention of the Evangelical Press Association, Leadership Journal received a number of awards for editorial and design excellence, including the "Award of Excellence," the top honor for publications in our category.

One of the judges, Melissa Chessher, director of the magazine, newspaper, and online journalism department at Syracuse University, commented on the journal: “The clean, bold design of this publication and the willingness to tackle compelling issues and the people connected to them make this a stellar example of magazine-making … strong design, strong editorial lineup, and obvious demonstration of how well it knows its readership.”
