On 40th Anniversary of Roe V. Wade, Christians Divided
40 years after the controversial ruling, Christians are divided on how best to confront the issue of abortion, and the practice's relationship to pro-life values.
Despite the belief that abortion is morally wrong, few religious groups support overturning the ruling. The exception is white evangelicals, who continue to advocate for a legal/political reversal of the decision according to research from Pew. This highlights the wide disparity from confessing Christians over what is to be done in response to the issue.
